Nidagravel honeycomb grids are the 'Original' gravel stabilisation system, manufactured by Nidaplast since 1984. With millions of square meters installed Nidagravel is best best-selling, tried and tested system in the UK.

Nidagravel 140 gravel grids have been developed for the creation of stable, long-lasting, water-permeable path and driveway surfaces using gravel. It is made from polypropylene sheets with a honeycomb structure used for gravel stabilisation. The honeycomb grids, with a cell diameter of 49 mm, have a porous geotextile bonded to the underside of the sheet using a hot-glue process. There are 2 overlaps of geotextile or membrane on two sides of each sheet, which provide continuity of the membrane when butting sheets together during installation. Nidagravel 140 is supplied in a large format sheet size of 2.4 sqm for fast installation times. Nidagravel 140 is 100% permeable and can be specified as part of a Sustainable Urban Drainage System (SuDS). It is used by landscaping, building and civil engineering contractors for stable, high-use and large scale gravel stabilisation projects, which could include a large domestic driveway, pedestrian walkways in public spaces or permeable car park solutions. The commercial application of Nidagravel 140 are extremely varied and it is the ideal product to use where a high-performance decorative gravel surface is required where the stabilisation system is unseen. The gravel stabilisation sheets are UV stable and resistant to extremes of high and low temperatures. Use Nidagravel 140 to create stable gravel paths and walkways, medium to large residential driveways from 500 sqm to 3,000 sqm in size, private and commercial car parks, car parking bays, and decorative permeable surfaces.
