Geocellular Stormwater Retention, Attenuation, and Infiltration System
The AZbox system helps meet some of the key principles governing the design of Sustainable Urban Drainage Systems (SuDS) which include storing rainwater runoff and releasing it slowly, referred to as attenuation, and allowing rainwater to soak into the ground, referred to as infiltration. This prevents large volumes of stormwater from rapidly entering the local drainage system and overwhelming it which can lead to flooding and pollution.

AZbox is designed for the creation of underground geocellular attenuation and infiltration tanks. Not only does stormwater management offer benefits to the environment, particularly with reduced pollution, but it's an added bonus if the solution is made from recycled material - the complete AZbox system is manufactured from 100% recycled polypropylene. The AZbox system had also been designed with transportation in mind to reduce space and therefore reduce 'miles to site'. The AZbox components can be stacked and palletised to reduce space, this is not reduces transport costs to site but also takes up less space on site which can be an important factor to consider when working on sites with limited space.

AZbox is lightweight and can be quickly assembled on site in a wide range of configurations and stacked up to 3 levels or 1880mm in height with a 95% void rate. The open spaces with the structure ensure that the attenuation/infiltration tank can easily be inspected and maintained.
