The OCity permeable paving range is an integrated grid system that combines three different surface finishes - block paving, gravel, and grass. Offering excellent rainwater permeability the OCity range offers great flexibility and ease of installation for mixed surfaces in an urban setting. They promote better aesthetics through the integration of green spaces within vehicular access areas. The importance of sustainable urban drainage systems (SuDS) is becoming increasingly important in towns, cities, and urban areas across the UK to help combat the effects of heavy rainfall and flooding as a result of global warming and climate change. The OCity range offers designers and architects new and creative options for designing permeable surfaces which form part of an overall sustainable drainage design strategy.

The OCity PAV65 grid is designed to be filled with nine square high-strength concrete block pavers per grid. This robust grid is designed with male and female connectors which interlock the whole system together. Each grid is 500mm square and 4 grids interlock to form 1 SQM, additional grids are interlocked as required to form the total area required. Grid installation is quick and easy and this enables fast installation of the block pavers without the need for additional jointing sand or setting concrete edgings in place between gravel and grass surfaces. OCity BLK65 square concrete block pavers are available in two colour tones; graphite grey and silver grey which suit perfectly urban spaces and complement a wide range of gravel as well as contrast nicely with natural grass surfaces. 9 blocks per grid or 36 blocks per SQM are required with the system.

The OCity NGR65 grid is a dual-purpose grid designed to be filled with gravel or filled with soil and seeded with hard-wearing amenity grass. The grids stablise the loose gravel finish, providing a firm and stable surface for pedestrian and vehicle use and reinforce the natural grass finish making it suitable for parking. The 65mm grid thickness allows for a generous soil depth enabling grass areas to establish well. Both gravel and grass surface finishes offer excellent rainwater permeability and add to the flexibility of surface layouts and designs. A white clip-in marker is available for the demarcation of parking spaces and can be used for both gravel and grass finishes.
