We would like to assure all our customers that we are still able to continue trading and we are despatching orders as normal for delivery within 48 hours.
Business As Usual
It is 'business as usual' at Nidagravel UK with all orders being despatched as usual during the coronavirus pandemic and we have taken steps to ensure that all our staff and customers are protected and are following the latest government guidelines. During the first lockdown, we put systems in place to ensure operations could continue smoothly and we have adhered to these procedures throughout the year and throughout the second lockdown. We will continue to operate both carefully and safely throughout the tier system, the Christmas period and we will continue this for as long as necessary in 2021.
Delivery in 48 hours
Our office and warehouse teams are still able to process and despatch customer's orders within our standard 48-hour delivery window as normal. We understand that speedy delivery of our gravel stabilisation grids is important, especially for our trade customers.
Changes that we have made
The office team are all working remotely and will continue to do so in 2021 and for the foreseeable future. This ensures there is no physical contact between the office team and the warehouse team. Telephone calls are routed automatically to the individual team members and for the most part, this has been successful. We have noticed however that on occasion some calls are dropped or cannot be connected properly. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause and ask that customers be patient or send the sales team an email instead. We are also not taking credit or debit card payments for orders by telephone as an additional security measure. Orders can either be placed online via our website or we can email customers an invoice for payment. The warehouse team are supplied with PPE and follow strict guidelines for all goods coming in and departing from our warehouse. All drivers arriving at the warehouse are advised to wear the appropriate PPE, stay in their vehicles as much as possible, and to keep all contact with the warehouse team to a minimum. We do not offer a collection service for customers and this reduces person to person contact.
Thank you for your support
It most certainly has been a strange year for everyone and we would like to sincerely thank our customers, staff, and suppliers for their custom, hard work, and support throughout 2020. We will continue to operate in accordance with government guidelines and hope that at some point next year, 2021 will bring an end to the Covid-19 pandemic.
