The Grand Designs Richmond project!
After much anticipation, the episode of Grand Designs was aired on Channel 4 which featured a Nidagravel grid driveway. For many people, Grand Designs, really is the ultimate television programme for home design and architecture. It's been around for over 10 years and even has its own Grand Designs magazine and exhibition - Grand Designs Live, which will be held this year at Excel, London in May and the NEC, Birmingham in October.

Hosted by the rather excellent Kevin McCloud, Grand Designs project are always interesting to watch and the Grand Designs Richmond project was no different. The Richmond project featured an architect designed, new build property on a garden plot with restricted access. In addition to some rather nice contemporary architecture, the interesting aspect of this project was the family's requirement to improve the quality of air inside the property and create a healthy home for their children.

The finished home looks stunning as you can see in the video clip above. But the best bit, as far as we are concerned, is the Nidagravel driveway to the front of the house! At the end of the programme, Kevin McCloud visits the property to see the finished build and we were delighted to see Kevin walk up the narrow driveway entrance which was surfaced with concrete block paving and then walk across the large section of Nidagravel driveway and parking area towards the front door.
